How to use your Template with Dreamweaver

Although our Web templates are created to be compatible with pretty much all HTML editors, here are some basic instructions:

Step 1: Zip File
Open up the .zip file using .zip software. Inside the zip file are all the elements needed to create your template. Put all these files into a folder.

Step 2: Loading your Template
Open up Dreamweaver and go to File>Open. Browse to the folder where you have unzipped your kelie.com template. Double click on the index.html file to load the template. Ta Da!

Step 3: Making Changes
Edit the files however you see fit, it's all up to you!

Step 4: Saving your Changes
Save your work by going to File>Save. If you want to make more than one page just go to File>Save As and rename the file (ex: contact.html). Use this method for each different page in your Web site that you create.

How to use your Template with Fireworks

Step 1: Loading your Template
Open up Fireworks and go to File>Open. Browse to the folder where you have unzipped your kelie.com template. Double click on the .png file.

Step 2: Making Changes
Edit the files however you see fit, it's all up to you!

Step 3: Saving your Changes by Exporting
Save your work by going to File>Export. Choose a file name and location for your files. You will generate a .html as well as graphic files.
